I just checked out the introduction and got to applying it straight away. Gives insight into the entire fretboard set up and how chordal triad tones weave their way up and down the fretboard. Visual and aural lesson so beautifully interpreted. A real corker. Thanks Robert for another genius lesson.
When you do the exercises, you can use the backing track with the tab/notation if you want. To do that, click on the "gear" icon in the bottom right of Soundslice. Then you will see option of selecting "Synthetic, Backing Track, or Video".
Check out the lesson files too. I have added 4 static E minor grooves you can grab and jam with!
The backing tracks for the exercises are there too, and all the neck diagrams.
🙂
Should keep you guys busy while I'm in Sweden for my brother's funeral?
Robert,
Once again. Thank you so much. I love this lesson, very nice and very useful. Just thinking quickly how and where to use. It is really really nice.

Not sure my email went through so I'm trying again. Just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss of your brother. God bless you and your family. My prayers are with you.
Thank you.
Robert, Is there any particular order one should take the triads courses in, or just start at the top and work my way down. Just wondering. There's a lot in there...Will
Well start with triads voicings. Then comping with triads. Then you can go into voicing and comping the blues. After that, jump around to wherever.
For the Eric Johnson course, start at the top in the order the lessons are listed.
Well, That's how I am doing it! Be awhile before I get to the latest offering....
Started the Eric Johnson Triads today, it fits to my / Roberts other triad exercices and courses. I really like the "minor-soul" in the EJ lesson (because I'm a "minor-soul" myself, I guess 🙂 ) But despite it's sounding wonderful to me: The more and more I am practicing the triad lessons, I see that I neglected this essential and naturally most important part of playing music at all. Just because most of the time it's an uneasy, kind of boring and awful job, to look at my fingers on the fretboard and spell the root, 3, the 5, the 7. Ok, I knew a few apreggios but never get in depth like this. Robert makes it fun to do so. Thank you very much.
Robert makes it fun to do so. I recommend these lessons to all who - up to now - steer cleer of getting closer to these essentials.
