Embellishments really draw me in as a listener and a player. The new R&B 2 minute lesson is another awesome chunk of ideas that opens up my mind to the fretboard and expression. I encourage Members to dig into this lesson, and the other Embellishment lessons at MGA. Use the player tools to loop and slow down the performance so that you can comfortably work with the track and then explore.
More sixths, thirds, and any other double stops, for me Please!

Great, thanks! I love this style of playing. You can hear so much of this in Hendrix's playing.

I understand Hendrix picked up this style on the R&B Chitlins circuit with the Isley Brothers.
