You were right on with your our feedback. I knew my timing was off in spots because of not being able to make the changes quick enough. So I'll work on isolating exactly where that happens and work on getting smoother changes at a slower tempo, speed it up slowly and plug it back in when I get a better grip on the voicings.  I think working on different accents with the metronome will also be a big help.
