It seems a bit too quiet I cant believe no one subbed a vid in November!!
Okay, I will give it another lash! Here is one called no doubt that I am STILL working on. A bit rough around the edges at times (I think). But has a distinctive theme and sound. I wanted to incorporate a chromatic walk throughout the piece. I think it has great potential and would love any and all feed back for this student video.

Summoning Clapton sounds in a Yosemite T-shirt is a noble task. Sounds good, and I like the way you take the time to riff over the rhythm swells and waves. Did you draft up the backing track yourself? There's a little Standing on Shaky Ground vibe going to push that rhythm section- nice work in progress.
Thanks Clayton! You always give such good feedback. Having listened to this piece several times now _I know now where to focus my attention. This is a great (kinda scary too) way to face yourself musically. All the feedback really makes a difference.
Regards Craig.

I'm not a a great analyzer but I will say great track I like it and agree it has great potential. I could hear and feel the chromaticism you were trying to achieve and also felt that I chould hear some of the melodious chord tones going on in there.
Super job.
Thanks Chris, Early days with this even though I have been working on it for ages, still a lot of themes coming out. I think a tremelo lead could be on the hob!
Craig, you were really getting some great tones with that whammy bar and the slide up to the 12th fret early on. I took a double take because that hand vibrato sounded like a bottle slide. Keep at it, brother!
Takes sooooooooooo much practice and im NEVER happy.
Id really love Everyones help to make this a working piece. At the moment Im tempted to delete it!!
Craig, the beauty of submitting a less than the result wanted video is that it displays the essential growth phase to others who may not know the way or be too apprehensive to take the chances necessary to create and learn.

Clayton,
Exactly right. I'm just expressing what comes out in this process. Facing yourself "warts and all" is essential for growth to happen. And being totally honest is often a challenge. I mean really the piece I have posted is weak in many places. A couple of nice moments but overall nothing to write home about. 🤗
True art flows from the sincerity of the performer. Great job Craig!
Thanks for sharing! I'll reply in a video!
That would be wonderful.
Excellent Wobbly Bob I enjoyed it!
Here, hear!

Robert, Thanks for your valuable insights. Very intuitive responses. I will be absorbing these lessons and applying the knowledge for many a while! I learn soooooo much from these exchanges and hope that other students will share videos soon.
Just reflecting on my own playing is an awesome tool but then to have a Master Muso give feed back is one of the quickest ways to improve. How fortunate we are that you take the time to nurture us musically. Deep respect! 🤩
