A work in progress.
Here is an extract before the major stuff up!
Im trying to get a really dark moody tension that sometimes works.
Let me know what you think.
You have me convinced Craig.
Dark and moody it is with a whole lot of love and feeling throughout. There’s a lot of cool phrasing and lines in this recording. I thought it was Pink Floyd influences I was hearing but it’s not. The name escapes me right now but it will come to me.
Regardless, it is an excellent performance. Looking forward to the “major stuff up”.
Hey Ivan, you're right.. Bit of Floyd also a bit of Zeppelin and a bit of Robert also. The rest is me.
I think it feels too safe. I want it to have an impending urgency and almost reckless tragic sound. Next take will be interesting... Stay tuned! 😊
Nicely done Craig. Great sound and great playing. Curious about the backing track... did you create it?

Hi Craig,
I love so much this video. Simply, excellent. You have a new fan.....Please, more.
Esteban
You're too kind Estaban, many thanks. Me 😊
Very nicely done, Craig.
Thanks very much Matonanjin
Awesome job, buddy! I think you can try hanging on a long, bent note now and then for next take. Leave some more space. Hanging on a note and milking it for a while is a form of space too. Too many noodling notes can sound like it's not going anywhere. You played really well however, these are just suggestions.
Craig, thanks for putting it out there so we can all learn.

Thank you Robert for the critique. It is so awesome that you take the time to listen and review for us!!
I agree with you. I am using "filler" phrasing as I am still creating new sounds. I basically use a "go to" muscle memory phrase whilst in my head Im going " hmmm, what next". Sometimes something completely new pops out which is one of those awesome "aha" moments that we all live for.
Your idea of hanging on a note is great and I will definitely use it.
Can I ask that you dont hold back on the analysis. Give me "both barrels" so to speak. I think I can take it and this would greatly help me push the envelope to get to the next level!
Quote for the day " I hate it when Im singing a song and the artist gets the words wrong!"
Craig, thanks for putting it out there so we can all learn.
My honor Clayton!

LOL Perhaps that is why it sounded familiar! Thanks!
