That's great! Sounds like you're having fun with this one. The major sound is cool, isn't it? Especially when mixing some minor pentatonics here and there.
By the way, I tried to improvise on this backing track using e-major pentatonic, but I'm nowhere close to what you are doing. What's your trick to achieve that? 😍
I wanted to make a video response to yours, but that would make me look like a rotten tomato beside what you have made, so no video for now... 🤣 🤣

My "trick" was in using more than 1 scale. Major pent and minor pent . Also the E major scale. Different riffs from Jimmy Page to Joe Walsh and of course R.R.
And BTW I think your playing is fine! What augments my development greatly is jamming with other more experienced musicians. To this day I seek out those more experienced than me for the learning opportunities.
Redfloyd, this tune does not have Dominant 7 chords. They are just plain major chords (no 7th). That's why you can use the major scale. The exception is the D chord - it's not part of the E major scale, so that's where you sneak in the blues scale or pentatonic!
Had a bit of fun noodling with this lesson. Let me know.
Hi Craig
I took that little part of the video and this after some tries is what I came up with. I put it on VLC and turned the speed down a lot, but it still was a bit difficult. and thanks for the mini lesson.
