I learned tasty guitar licks 1, 2 and 3. Can all 3 be used in the same chord progression?

Thanks, SK

That's a good question. I'd say give it a try and see how it sounds. Anything works if you play it well :). Just make sure the tempo isn't too fast.

Hello there,

I don't think I asked that question correctly...I was hoping you would tell me what chord progression would work for those 3 tasty guitar licks. Or is that something I should be able to figure out on my own?  Thanks,  Steve K

The simple answer is, they won't work out of the box on the same chord progression. They are in different keys, so you will need to transpose. The 2nd lick has a minor IV chord, so that will not work so well.

You could try the 1st and 2nd lick over a blues with a quick change. E7 | A7 | E7 | E7

and see how it sounds? The 1st lick needs to be transposed to E then.

Sorry I didn't have a simple answer for you, but this kind of work on your own can be very rewarding! 🙂
