so I sat down and played along with Roberts first 14 minutes of Live session. Had to slow down to one half speed on YouTube and repeat many times, but how incredible it is to learn at the masters feet. It’s a lot of hard work, but wow it’s so rewarding to try and copy the old school away when you had an instructor sitting next to you. Thanks @robert!
That will stick.
Thanks so much Clayton! Hearing that means a lot to me.
And I made the blues solo faces, too!

@matonanjin only if the timbales are playing. Oy vey, como va!
@robert Yesterday I went back for a call and response copy in your outro solo demonstration in the live session. Something clicked this time in being able to pick up these ideas by listening and watching without any tab.
That is great to hear Clayton. The best way to learn is by the ear.
@robert I think that slow blues solo would make a wonderful lesson. You set a fine example of setting up a mood with sweet restraint and then burning out some passion.
I couldn't agree more with Clayton. This would be really great material for a slow blues lession.
Robert, your solo is just awesome 👍.
And Clayton's description of your soloing is so spot on. Kudos Clayton.
You set a fine example of setting up a mood with sweet restraint and then burning out some passion.

Thank you, I appreciate that! I do need to make a lesson or two on slow blues!
