There's a lot of great nuggets of info and inspiration down in the Live Chat archives. I managed to watch a couple of them today.
The session regarding practice was very helpful to me as my practice has been pretty dull and lacking energy lately. The ideas in the stream and the motivation and inspiration I got from this video is re-energizing me and are getting me back on track!
Thanks Robert!
No doubt it is extremely difficult to come up with topics for each live stream. We should all try to help. After all, they are for our own benefit, right?
Here is the archive for the streams

I've been trying to come up with ideas and topics for discussion. Robert recently covered triads. I wonder if a related topic like arpeggios would be a good suggestion, or maybe playing double stops, or scale runs in thirds, sequencing...
Anyone else have any ideas? Ask and ye shall receive!
Thank you Chris that you have mentioned the live stream « effective practice « . I’ve just finished watching this video and I think this one should be the first video a beginner should watch before any other of Robert’s videos. So many basic informations, I’m inspired and I‘ve taken many notes. Very important for me is the rhythm training with the metronome (clicks on 1 and 3 or clicks on 2 and 4), the information on learning songs and how to set goals.
And I have an idea for a live stream or another video on techniques. I’m having a hard time to decide when to use up and down strokes in the right order when there are triplets mixed with 16th and 8th notes. Are there deeper rules or is it more intuition ? This would be my question.
Thanks a lot
Birgit

I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. To me effective practice is the key to everything and yet it is something I often struggle with...
Good idea for a topic. Robert liked your post so I expect something will be coming up on it.
Picking is an interesting topic as there are a number of ways to pick, Alternate, Economy, Sweep, Legato, Pickslanting ... add to that the type, size and thickness of your pick. More than likely we will adapt and yet change many of these things during our journeys.
Keep it up!
