So far I've done 3 of the boxes so I wanted to use what I learned. Well, kind of anyway.

Well, I finally realized something:  Learning the A minor pentatonic scale with the notes lead me to a very quick learning where the notes are on the 5 boxes. It took me 2 weeks, but the secret I discovered "on my own" of course I'm laughing now, was to learn the notes in box one, then learn the 5 positions and then figure out the notes on the fretboard in all 5 positions. It took me all but 10 minutes to learn the positions of the notes. Wow.  Thanks Robert, your advice when I joined up is being listened too. 😀  I was sweating it for the last 2 weeks.

That's a great idea, Joe; I'm going to try it. I've also been using Robert's course on learning the notes but I'm inconsistent and only have done A, E, and D so far. I'm getting pretty fast with A  and E. Applying octave patterns helps, too.

Yeah, I discovered that on my own. 🍻
