In the rain!
It's Jaywalkers Jamboree in Camrose this weekend. The arts society asked me to play twice. So, this morning, my daughter helped carry my Line 6 gear and I looped some backing tracks and played over them. I played for about one hour, and it was pouring down... by the end of it, two people were the complete audience, and that was for my last 2 songs. Kind of crazy. They asked me if I even wanted do it all, but since I was there, I figured why not. It's an hour of practice if nothing else.
Then in 4 hours, I play again, this time with my band. I'm even going to sing 2 songs! Well, I wouldn't call it singing - maybe zombie calling?
I'm now practicing the set list. I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully the rain stopped by then!
Hey Robert,
The rain has let up here in St. Albert for the most part, so it should in Camrose as well ... you're about 3 hours behind our weather systems ...
I got the bass and drums down for Nowhere To Run and working on the rhythm guitar chops now ... should have the 2017 version up by tonight for people to try some licks on.
... I only have an audience of one ... my cat Pawlee.
Break a leg with the band and the Zombies tonight !

Rock on Robert.....enjoy!
It got canceled due to severe rain... 🙁
Then an hour later, it was sunny again! DAMN!
