@clayton I found that the most difficult were the bends. Especially the first one, a whole step band on the 7th fret! It's pretty hard on the fingers! hahaha!
The timing is not that hard on this one, I start to be used to Robert style!
Okay, no recordings for today unfortunately (or fortunately! lol). I'm almost to the point that I can give a try at recording "Low Income Blues". I really like it! I tried it before but I wasn't able to play it all at once correctly. Now I'm almost there but my fingers are getting confused in the riffs at the end. More practice is needed to build that muscle memory!
At the same time, I'm practicing the Gary Moore Ballad Solo. I love Gary Moore style, really melodic and with many (many!!) bends. However, I'm missing the speed. I don't know how I'll be able to play the series of very fast triplet. Any special tricks I should know?
Thanks all!
Great to see you inspired, Sebastian!
The fast stuff at the end of the Gary Moore solo is just off time, as fast as you can play. The technique is hammer-ons and pull-offs. Aim for the long notes at the end of the run. The fast notes before is just "fast garbage" leading to the long notes as the end. How you end a lick is always the most important thing about a lick.
