Sounds like fun. Hope you have a great gig!
Wish it were nearby.
I played by myself with backing tracks at 3pm, then with Myra at 5. It was cool.
Take me to the River............I don't know if anyone cares about this but A) this tune was written by the late/great Al Green but B) became one of my favorite Talking Heads tunes........but then was absolutely immortalized around the universe by that crazy C) 'Billy Big Mouth Bass' deal with the singing fish moving its head on the mounting!! Hopefully Robert played the Talking Heads or Al Green version though!! Otherwise his cover could be construed as "fishy"!! Jim C.

did you record it?
Didn’t record it no. It was for jaywalkers jamboree, a street festival in town.
How are you practice logs coming along?
Keep them going - it will help you over time!
I have been working on Low Income Blues for the last month... but other than that, I've worked on fretboard shapes for the dominant altered scale and melodic minor. I always try to steal some nice lines from players I like - this is what I call TRANSCRIBING. That's one of the most beneficial thing you can do if you want to become a better improviser.
