Thanks Craig. I think my thoughts are getting a bit more clearer and seems to me you noticed it in my playing on this on. The challenge for me was to learn the notes. Not really sure, but I think the tune was in the Key of D and I learned that C# and F# are in that key. Finally, with Roberts lessons I realize that he is letting us think for ourselves , but luckily he (Robert) is very kind with his time and assists us when we ask for help.
I like the use of a backing track to keep timing honest and measured (no pun intended). Good work ye honky tonker! And all the better for sharing here with the MGA. Cheers.

Thanks Clayton. Robert is right I should start using backing tracks more often.
OK, well I did what I felt was my best take on this one: Country Shuffle with piano , backing track
So here it is folks. I like how Robert said, hey Joe, time to play along with backing tracks.
That advice really helps my ears. Although I made a lot of wrong notes here and there, just need more practice and more practice. But its really for me anyway, is just to have fun.
Oh, if you use the earphones, it sounds kind of cool lol
Seems the file was too big so I had to put it in Box.com
Wow Joe you are really progressing. I love the tone and the separate channels in the headphones is awesome. Well done mate! Keep 'em coming!
Hi Craig
Hey! I'm so happy to hear that you feel I'm progressing, that is my goal here on MGA. I really missed a lot of right notes on this one, but I practiced it enough to where I better just record my practicing and post it.
As you notice, there were 3 different tones though out this recording, but just one guitar. Getting a little better now using Reaper too. LOL
Worked on Jazzified Country lick. Got it memorized but I lack the rhythm to make it sound good. Hopefully with more time on it I'll get it up to speed.
