Feb. 23, Friday
Been a bit busy for the last week. I'm glad that I really just set a daily goal at a time, it makes me pick up the guitar and met that goal. Working on a weekly maybe my biggest challenge, but I'll slide into one in the future. For now, I'll stick with a daily plan/goal if possible.
1. Practiced Blues A Minor Pentatonic Boxes 1~5. Got all 5 boxes memorized, but need to practice every day till it soaks in and playing more smoothly. But today I noticed that I'm getting for of a natural feel on the fretboard where the notes are to be played.
2. Started up again on Beginners Blues Solo.
3. Recorded Beginners Blues Solo lick #1

4. Recorded Beginners Blues Solo lick #2

*note: on lick on 1 I really improved on my timing and rhythm, on lick 2 need a lot more practice, but my goal on lick 2 was just to be honest and this is where I'm at on it
Well, my first month (February) went by too fast. My progress is all stated in the above post for February.
For March I will try to spend more time on what I did in February and add as much new stuff to my practice routine. I'm going to still stay with a daily goal due to life's scheduling of other activities, but hopefully try to put in at least 5 days of practice of what this great site offers.
March 1, Thursday
I'll post later what I did today.
I practiced the 5 ways A7-Bm tutorial
Beginners Blues Solo lick 1~3
got it memorized
timing is a bit weak-more practice need
So that's my first day of the month daily log 😀
March 12, Monday
This morning I set a goal and wanted to really complete it. It wasn't much, but it did take some practice to build it up with a "little" tempo. Need some more practice on it but it will come with time.
1. Major pentatonic with b3 lick of the week lesson
Here is my recording of it.

comments are most welcome
Thanks everyone 🍕
It's been a while since I logged on the site, but today I wanted to go over a few things.
March 25 Wednesday
1. reviewed the Minor Pentatonic Boxes 1-5
2. practiced the Beginner Blues Solo licks 1~3
Well it was a little, but best to do something.
On the Beginner Blues Solo, I getting better at the timing, and I'm more into remembering the notes without looking at the score.
March 26, Thursday
1. Reviewed Minor Pentatonic Boxes 1-5
2. Practiced Blues Solo Licks 1~4 starting to get the timing down a bit better
3. Practiced Major pentatonic with b3 need to focus more on remembering it, but got it down
4. Started on Big Guitar Licks any tabs on this one?
Overall, some practice that is routine I feel will greatly help me. Also I want to focus more on a complete song, but the days activities, I'm always on the go.

Oh, and that sure is some fast playing. I'm just on the first lick, but today I'll listen to more of the video.
This is just terrible, I haven't logged into my practiced log for some time now.
Today I said to myself "don't pickup that guitar unless you are going to start and finish something".
Well the gm-fusion-lick that Robert just put out is what I worked on.
Total time maybe about 2 or more hours on it, thing is I got it remembered.
So I did it. I'll put a recording of it here and on the part of the forum later today, need to record it first, that would help. 🍺
Love your enthusiasm Can't wait to hear it
August 15, 2018
Today I wanted to practice a bit more and record gm-fusion-lick which I did.
Here is my take on it.
Wow! Time sure does fly.
It's been summer and I've mostly been out doing some traveling on my motor bike. Fall now and the mountains are getting a bit chilly, but still pleasant. Need now to buy some gloves.
So I'm back in the saddle now and hope to keep busy as often as I can with Roberts lessons.
So today: October 1, 2018
I started again on Triad Voicings
I did the Major Triads GBE strings.
Tomorrow I'll make a recording of my progress on it. While playing these voicing, it really brought me back to the 60's music era. Couldn't believe how the rhythm and strumming patterns fit so well.
I also started on the Major Triads D G B strings. I don't have all the patterns memorized yet. Be working on them tomorrow.
Note: after some time of laying off this course, it is really amazing on how all this works musically.
Started back again on the Triad Voicings
November 27 2018
Reviewed The Study of Sweet Notes, Major and Minor
What I've noticed about going back into this lesson, I get a better understanding what is being taught.
Also, its amazing how many songs of the 60's use these triad voicings.
I'll return again and practice more to get the changings of voicings more smoothly.
Dang, its been a while for me to log into the "log".
Anyway I've been practicing the backing track "Country Pop" With the help of Robert I was able to get the right chords, was off of 2 of them, but got the root note right.
I'll have a recording on this real soon, just playing rhythm though.
I don't think I can post the link for the backing track.
OK, I recorded a very short take on Country Pop backing track. I really enjoyed this track because I started out with the root notes (I guess) and tried to get the right chords. Got 2 wrong, but Robert chimed in and help out. Thanks Robert.
My take:
