Here is my first video ever on YouTube.
It has recording on a cell phone, It's maybe not the best quality, but nice to have this one. Since the last three times I may end with SRV Mary had a little lamb. The band knows of- course I'm a big fan of SRV and KWS. What a nice members I have. 😀 I wanna share this with you and hope you like it.
Sorry for the mistakes I have made, but I see this as a learn.
And hope to do it better next time, and hope to get my 60 years old vingers faster than they are now. 🎸
Our Rhythm guitar player has filmed this on Wednesday evening, December 6 2023
Can only be viewed for the three membership forms that I use to learn guitar and communicate with each other.
Oh yeah by the way I'm not a singer so sorry for that voice 🫣
Nice work!
@stevie-dre, André, I'm delighted to see you actively playing with your band! And SRV always has to be there, that's very clear with you 😊.
You look so relaxed when you play. I'd like to be that relaxed one day too.
Thank you for sharing this clip with us.
Birgit
@bluesiline Thank for your kind words Birgit, I appreciate that.
Yeah that's why the band call me Stevie Dre, so nice the give me the last SRV song on the practice evening the last three times.
We hope to do go on stage for the first time in 2024.
In 2022 we had one try out with six songs.
But we have now three new band members, and want more than we did with the other band members.
Nice to hear you see me relaxed.
That is what I always like to do. but is not always easy certainly not when i must learn new songs.
Birgit when I see you play, you look relaxed too.
And we see you grow.
I hope to be a better player than I been now.
I saw today that Walter Trout 72 years now made a new record that come out in March 2024. That man gives me energie the to train my sixties old fingers to getting faster. 😀
@stevie-dre This is outstanding! Not an easy solo, and I am really impressed by the effort, sounds, and sharing. I love the way you are sitting in that groove and taking your time to find your space. Superb- we should all learn from your willingness to perform and post.
Happy Holidays!
@clayton Thank you so much for your kind words Clayton, I appreciate that.
It's nice to hear that people like in what we are doing.
I have indead put a lot of practice time in it, to get to the solo.
I hope to put more video's next year, from the band.
I practice now about 4 hours a week , and next year I will practice about seven hours a week, if my work let that trough.
For me is fast tremolo strumming like Stevie did and bending difficult.
I hope to do that better than I do now.
For you Clayton and all here a great Christmas time.
I can't add much to what has been said, other than to say I agree with ALL the very positive reviews. Great job and you do look surprisingly relaxed! Deceptively? Are you really that calm tackling that tough solo? And you are selling yourself very short on the singing.
thank you for sharing this
@matonanjin Thank you so much for your kind words, I appreciate that.
Good to hear all those positive words, I really didn't no where I stay in the way I play. I must say all those reactions give the motivation to go on to learn more. And yeas I'm always a calm man. Even when my work is busy, I'm not a person that have stress. I think that I have that from my father, he was a calm person too.
Thank you for the kinds words about my singing. Maybe it is that I don't like to hear my voice! 😊
By the way In februari 2024 we start a new song from Kenny's new album Best of times. There is a hard learning solo in it. My I gonna try do my best to learn this one. 😀
Have a great Christmas time!!!!
