I had posted earlier in the year after we got back from the Joe Bonamassa "Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea". What a great time it was.
One of the advantages of being on a previous cruise is they give you first opportunity to sign up before opening sales to the public. We just signed up last night for the 2018 cruise. Woo hoo! Sailing from Miami to Jamaica and back with practically non-stop awesome blues music!
I'm really looking forward to seeing JB, of course, and Los Lobos, Ana Popovic, Markus King, Josh Smith and Kirk Fletcher. Most of the others I haven't heard about but we were exposed to so many great artists last year that I had never heard of.
When sales open up to the general public, if you are considering it, I can't recommend it enough. what a great time!
Wow, you lucky son of bluesman!
Sounds like a real true blast. I think I would love it... I wonder if I sold some gear... hmmmm... LOL Now I have CAS Cruise Acquisition Syndrome!
You lucky dog you. Sounds like a bast.
Enjoy!
This sounds like a great experience! We are all jealous.
As a pro magician I work cruise ships from time to time. I have worked about 7 cruises in the past 3 years, with another big one (Caribbean) coming up in December. On these cruises I often hang out with some fine guitarists (jazz, rock, blues and acoustic) who will often share tips with me, and even give me lessons. In return, I show them some awesome magic.
Someday, my ship will come... Glad you are sailing the seas of good times, Ron!
