Hi guys, I’m on my back from a trip to the Rockies. We drove from Camrose to Fernie, B.C. and back.
Unfortunately, I’ve had a setback with my back (no pun intended). I’ve had severe pain, and I think I pulled an already inflamed back muscle. It will heal, but right now, I’m a sad sight trying to get in and out of a chair. Walking is okay, but I can barely use a chair anymore... it will get better though - just need time.
I’ve had some issues with my iMac, and editing videos has been difficult. So, I scraped my bank account and ordered a new one, as well as a 12 TB hard drive. That should improve things for me. I will try to sell my old iMac, which is still quite good. I just to move the data over and reinstall the operating system.
Another thing I will probably do is upgrade the “fretboard camera”. The one I’m using is pretty good - do you like the picture quality? However, I can get a 4K camera nowadays for a good price. I’ll probably shrink it down to the same size as I’m currently doing, but it will still look my sharper. I’m not sure if 4K matters that much for viewing guitar lessons - it will tax the computer/device quite a bit. You let me know your thoughts.

I hope this post finds you on the mend and feeling better, Robert. It never ceases to amaze me how complex we are and yet how easily an injury can take us down to limits. Tend to yourself for the time being. You have provided a dearth of materials for study, practice and adaptation, especially considering all the goodies packed into the two minute lessons.
