Great fall foliage. Definitely inspiring
@Clayton, a week ago we were at my son's house in Kaiser, Missouri. Kaiser is in the Lake of the Ozarks area. It was just starting to turn colors and "inspiring" is a great choice of words. After we left, we spoke to my son and he said that just the next day the colors we even more beautiful, in just that day. Glancing at a map, it appears Kaiser is just very slightly greater latitude than Ashville so I'm certain that where you are at is great fall foliage. My wife goes to High Point, NC, a couple times per year. Without fail, she returns and comments on the beauty of the area.
We all know the rule about NGD posts. "No photos it didn't happen." I am somewhat certain this applies to posts about landscapes or travelling. We may have to call on @robert for a ruling on this 😉 (I'll try and post one from my son's boat. 😆 )
@matonanjin I was having a devil of a time trying to get pics posted. Not sure why they won't upload. I tried loading to My Media, the danged paper clip Attach Files, and drag and drop. Nada, zip, zilch, nein, nicht, no way Ho-Zay (Freddie King pun there folks).
Where's that I.T. guy?
I'm thinkin' (very dangerous) that my new iPhone 15 Pro Titanium with the thing in the gun stock that tells time, is now shooting in .HEIC rather than jpg format. Why Lord, Why?
Might be file format or too big? You can transfer them to the computer and convert them there, then upload?
Nada, zip, zilch, nein, nicht, no way Ho-Zay (Freddie King pun there folks).
hiyá (Lakota for "no") 😉
And, yes, what @robert said. My wife's is not one of the newer ones. But I had to do something for her with files from her phone. And they were the heic format and I had to convert them to jpg. Of course, had to have their own format. Another reason I stick with my old Android
@matonanjin Damn You Steve Jobs!!! Eh, truth be told, the iPhone was the last piece of the puzzle and, all things being equal, there's some serious synergy to having the whole kit-and-kaboodle of Apple. This from a guy who had mac laptops, desktop mini and ipads for over a decade while enjoying my Android for the last 13 years.
Ron, I think you've got it right about my shared suspicion of the HEIC files. Why, Lord, Why?
@robert It's definitely the HEIC format. I'll look into a conversion, then you'll be sorry when I'm pulling out the slide show of my vacation pics and the giant ball of string.
Yep, Same size JPG worked. Simple to convert.
