Dear friends and colleagues,
Hope you are doing well these days… I am opening this new topic to announce you that the new project of Doc and Friends started the recording last 27th March 2021. A new album called ‘Doc is Back in Town’ which include a total of new songs between blues and rock (with slight touches of folk – somebody said this, I do really not know…). It was long trip till here, with many people deeply involved….Please, if you are willing to accept these words I will post a few comments on the progress….
The album is recorded in the ‘Covid mode’. Due the confinement, many musicians already acquired highly quality staff for home recording….So, after a 2 days stage, following the most strict measures anti-Covid, the band prepared and produced and ‘pre-recorded’ nice material suitable to be recorded…and thus, we started bit by bit, musician by musician with the recording…
Attached a couple of pictures of the stage…..
Hope you like it…….and as usual, comments, critics and suggestions are warm welcome.
Esteban, you have to get through these tough times as a band. That's not easy.
But thanks a lot for giving us a brief insight into your actual work and for the whole bunch of photos.
For me it’s very interesting to have a look at your recording studio and to gain an impression of what your are doing there. That gives a very personal touch to me. I’m delighted.
Continue like you are, that’s so great, and let the energy flow. All the best for you and your band.
Birgit
Emociante- Yo quiero ir! Mas fotos por favor!!
Please post some rough mixes, AND video some of the overdub "punch-in" process. Too cool.
Esteban That's awesome. Glad to see you are remaining active and recording again. I'm looking forward to hearing more!

I wish, mi amigo... Not until 2022, I will be there as guest player in a live show!
Thank you so much Robert.
Yesterday we recorded some rhythm guitars at the studio....extremely happy.
Much more impressed by the ingenuity of the producer and sound technicians. Take a look at the pictures.
Robert, I am using two amps: a Friedman runt 20 and a Suhr Badger....and all my arsenal of guitars.
These are Great!!! Such cool insights for members here.
¿dónde está tu guitarra, melody azure?

Esteban, I‘m as glad as Clayton to see these pictures from the « inner circle » of a recording studio. So great that you share them with us!
And so wonderful, to see you in action with your guitar.
I already get little palpitations of my heart when I think about how you must feel during recording….
Big thank you and all the best for your recordings,
Birgit
