Just curious to hear who is going in to work and who is working from home.
Half time on average....extremely limited by mobility restrictions
Just curious to hear who is going in to work and who is working from home.
Neither. I don't do anything 🤣
Working from home for now...
In the office 1 day per week, and, at home about 6 hours per week. Most of my work was in court hearings which have been canceled and rescheduled, with a few hearings here and there in the courtroom and a few more remote.
100% remote working from home. I absolutely love it. I don't have to deal with traffic, construction, the wear and tear on my car and essentially wasting 5+ hours a week sitting in a metal box. I can devote that newly found 5 hours to practicing guitar more.
80% of my semi-retired work life is from home, but I must confess that I have been using that extra time for miles on the bicycle and a few extra moments for playing music. As of September, however, I've been recruited into a few more hours of regular jam time with players.
retired for the past 5 years, and must admit i do not miss working everyday. pretty much do what i please. should probably practice more, but i still work on my house, and ride my ducati's as much as i can. at 74, the urge to haul ass down the road is waning a bit, but not entirely!...
Now, bit by bit back to routine....working at the lab for more than 80%. Many, many boring webminars and on-line meetings....horrible!!!. Any little excuse is used to organise a meeting and in the meantime work is already awaiting for you on the desk.....This new reality requires some more organization
@zwantedone Very similar numbers here, although you stuck it out slightly longer. I retired 6 or 7 years ago. And I'm 73. I have not missed working everyday for one millisecond. I loved what I did but love "pretty much doing what I please" more.
@esteban working it what kind of lab? A lab rat here as well, microbiology.
Retired, but work was 100% home type business.
