Tri-Tones!
Which is the superior axe.........a 1967 Master built roas worn distressed Fender Strat or a brand new Gibson ES335 TDC???!! All right.........kidding (unless you'd care to seriously discuss this as I might lean toward the versatility of your Gibson) but besides extending concepts for your sweet Sophisticated Blues Licks in C lesson........some more in-depth ideas for jazzing up our Blues rhythms with cool concepts whilst keeping our roots to the blues!! Also, a nice email reminder with attachment to this Live Stream is always greatly appreciated!! Tex
Can you post your world clock link on this, please.
Discuss on how and why chords work with each other. Thanks
I ‘m not sure yet, if I can participate tomorrow, but I’m interested in some jazzy bluesy chromatic lines.
Since I’m here at MGA I’ve got to know and appreciate your jazzy bluesy sound very much.
Thanks Birgit
See you there Robert! Looking forward to it!

Thanks Robert. Interesting discussion... and inspirational playing!
Robert, I just watched your live stream video. Yesterday was too late for me in the evening!, I'm so sorry.
Compliment for your improvising skills, well done !
As I still haven’t dived into modes, I really appreciate your information on the dorian mode. You made a very good introduction, opened my mind.
Looking at the C major scale as the parent scale for modes and looking at modes as individual scales with unique sounds.
Talking about the 6th note (b) which gives the dorian sound, talking about the chord progression with the d minor chord as a target chord and so on.
And, as you say, one has to develop an ear for the modes.
You are really good at explaining music theory. I’m looking forward for further information. Keep it up!
Thanks Birgit
Here's Robert's Dorian Lesson that was so good.
Thank your, Clayton, for mentioning this lesson which I didn’t know. A lot of interesting stuff on the Dorian Mode. This lesson I have to watch more than twice …. very often… !
In my opinion, Robert’s little presentation of « E Dorian Mode over E minor vamp » would be perfect for a lesson integrated in his « 2 Minute Lessons », with tabs and backing track.
Birgit
@bluesiline, I have spent hours with this lesson- classic Robert giving that sit down here and let me show you value. I'm going to dig back into this myself.
Nice suggestion of an E Dorian for a 2 minute lesson- much more to access when playing from E.
One of my favs with Dorian is to slip back two frets and throw in a little C maj (ionian mode) flavor to accent and contrast.
