Join me for a live stream on August 10th and 4pm Mountain Time.
Hope to see you in the live stream - let me know if you have questions!
Great live lesson today. Whilst it is still fresh I gave it a lash applying what I remembered over the backing track.
That was great! The chord lines around 2:10 are super sweet. I like how you leave space in there, as well some repetition, which draws the listener in. It always works.
I'd love to hear you guys copy some vocal lines from a tune, as I mentioned in the live stream. It's an excellent way improve both phrasing and melodic playing.
Robert, I’ve just watched the archived stream and I want to say - with your words - that it has been „majorly pretty“.
A whole bunch of information on major and minor sound. And you lead us to think about the chord tones and start with finding the triads for each chords.
This video will occupy me for years to come!
I also take with me from the video:
-“First working on the chord tones and then working on the major pentatonic for each of the chords“
- „Copy with the guitar what your mouth is doing“
I would like to mention in particular that I really enjoyed your playing. A big compliment 👍 .
And yes, I would be delighted if you could prepare tabs of some of your licks you played. I really enjoyed the major pentatonic (05:37 – 07:28) and also the minor pentatonic (07:28 – 07:55).
Thank you so much,
Birgit
Notice: I corrected the time stamps from original version to updated version.

Just great Craig 👍. I’m delighted. So to speak, „freshly produced“. You can do all of this right away.
I tried to name a part in your playing that I like best, but no chance, when I found one spot, the next spot was great too. And I like, same as Robert, that you leave space.
What I can say, this is one of my favorites of all that you have presented here so far.
A big thank you,
Birgit
