Nice playing Craig....sounding great!
Thanks Craig! Sweet major pentatonic sound there.
Ill add the next 12 bars...
My 12 bars. This tune was dancing around my head when while listening to Craig's solo. Surprised I remembered it. Thanks for listening.
Craig and Ivan
You guys are cooking. Great job!
Nice Ivan, that is a nice solo. Where did your inspiration come from?
Your tone is a bit peculiar. Is it clipping? What tools did you use?

Thanks Robert. It’s a Solo I learned awhile ago, not sure from who. I use a Presonus Audiobox 96 interface with Studio One Artist 4 software. I used Bias FX 2 plugin for the first time and not sure how to record with it. I didn’t get any clipping warning when I was exporting the mixdown. Tell you the truth, I don’t know what I’m doing...haha.
It sounds like the input level might have been too hot. I hear some ugly audio pops/crackles in there. Is it just me?

I'm hearing the same thing but not all the time. At first I thought it was a cable problem so I did some trouble shooting but couldn't find anything. I plugged in to my amp using the same plugin but it's clean...no static, crackle or pops. So it was probably too hot.
Hmm, I need to straighten up and match remarks to the proper thread.
@wobbly_bob, @ivan, you fellas have juke joint jam rolling there. Sounds damn fine!

Is there a metering plugin available? If so, use that when you set up your guitar track, and keep the input at around -18dBFS.
@robert there’s both input and output meters at the bottom of Bias FX2 plugin and also on my Studio One software. Ive been trying to keep input levels at around -12 but I’ll try -18.
Thanks
Well if you did, the crackling sound isn't from the input being too hot. -12 would be sufficient.
