Hi all you out there,

I lost the overview about how many of you did record their solo. I count three, so this here MGA-Killer-Lick-Jam-4-Guitars hopefully links to my contribution as guitar no. 4. Cubase and me, we will never get friends I guess. Anyway it would be helpful if someone replies wether he could use the link in here.

Worst case: You can listen, but you can't download the file (I guess, that's what happens). So I attached my solo without the backing track and maybe someone else will put it in? I am embarrassed that I have so many technical problems. Really.

Oh Lord.....

and the file without the jamtrack in here:

Let me see if I can splice this into the existing Jam track submitted by Chuck.

Craig, please wait on a submission.  Assuming I can get Gottfried's solo spliced, I will take a turn at the solo section and then leave the last portion of the backing track for you to Bring it on Home.

Hi Clayton, thank you so much!!!

My solo starts according to Roberts "Killer Lick"/Fletcher witth the bending and the "c" on beat one. You probably know this...

Jawoll Gottfried! Sehr schön gemacht! Ein mellow aber passende tone gefehlt mir! Meins war ein bisschenagressive!

MFG,

Very nice Gottfried. We should repair this lack. Do you use to play with computer and sound card or something equivalent?....

Clayton, let me know if some help is needed.

Great phrasing Gottfried! Love it.

I think the tone would be improved with a bit more reverb, but that's just personal preference.

It seems the volume of the track is getting lower and lower?

Here we go- The Backing Track was getting a bit walked on and losing fidelity so I decided to take Chucks Backing Track cut it off at the end of the space set aside for Gottfried's solo.  I then spliced the original Backing Track to the end of Gottfried's section so that Backing Track would keep some Fidelity for the next 2 or 3 solos.

Gottfried, I spliced in your solo track as an overdub to the backing track.  I also added in a little reverb to your solo (Robert's suggestion sounds good).

Here's the Latest Track:  Killer Intro Cm Jam Track ECCG 4

I would like to take up the next solo slot.  Please stand by.

Clayton, thank you very much for your support.

Obviously I lost the chord-line in between. Sorry for that. As I've found the right place to create a "Box" account, I will try to fill the gap in the next days.

And you out there, Chuck, "wobbly_bob", Robert, Estseban, Clayton, Chris: thank you for your comments and encouragement. It will carry me on.

Chuck, you answered in my language, that's fun. Thx!

Esteban, I recorded via Cubase and connected the amp via preamp out to my steinberg interface. I still have my difficulties to get out of this what I want...

And here's my feel for some slow blues.  I spent several hours just exploring, how may ways I could approach this solo, and the feel just kept evolving.  I forgot how much time I can spend getting lost in the music once I put a backing track into loop and close the woodshed door.  Funny, I wanted to make this a ripping solo but the little notes and nuances, the feel just kept pulling me in another direction.

Here's the latest Track:  Killer Intro Cm Jam V.5  I'm in at 6:57

I sincerely thank all you players who laid down their solos and delivered a great space for me to join. When this jam is done, I would like to hear from players and listeners alike regarding their thoughts on how this process affected you, insights and lessons.

Craig and/or Esteban, would you like to take us out with a closing solo?

Really gr8 mate! I love the "since I've been Lovin' you..." double stops at the start of your solo.  They immediately  tweaked my soul and made me sit up and listen! Its obvious you have a passion for the guitar and music in general. You moved me brother!.... 🤣

I will add my finishing flavour  in the next little while and leave space for Estaban to take us out.

To reach across the other side of our world and share the art- amazing.  You have a good ear and a great heart. Craig.  My humble thanks.

See you in the rhythm jam.

And maybe a call & response Jam this week?  Esteban and I did one last year, 'twas a hoot.
