I've been studying this one for ages now,  got totally lost for days or so it seemed.  Great learning opp.

Doing this sort of exercise really does things to your neural pathways.  Learning someone elses inflection and "grammar" is priceless.

Another great job, Craig... must be something special in the water down under! 😉 Hey can you send me some of that water!...?

Nice mix of guitars on this IMHO... volumes are balanced well. Or maybe the rhythm guitar is playing softer!!! 😉

Thanks Chris,  I really loved this one.  To me it has a great blend of influences.

Maybe you should come visit and have a draught of the water yourself!!!

Great job, Craig. Just watch those bends - you sometimes bend up to the major 3rd. The tune is in minor, so you should bend just about a half step.

You are a little bit ahead sometimes with your timing. Tap your foot and try to lock into the groove.

Overall it was great. Your notes are well played and the phrases were mostly dead-on, compared to my version.

What are you using for tone? Very bitey, not in a bad way though. Just sharp and edgy, which is cool.

Actually I think it sounds good to have a more edgy tone on the bridge solo, and a bit mellower on the other solo parts, just for dynamics. I tried to do that a little bit with my version.

Thanks Robert, It was quite the challenge to play note for note. I got a bit enthusiastic in parts and over bent on some occasions and the timing wasn't perfect. I was aware of these things and could have gone back and manicured them,  but then I thought that it was better to leave it as it was originally recorded.  The goal was to learn and grow and I achieved this. 😀

The tone was achieved through Guitar rig,  a Jimi Hendrix preset,  very tasty.

I switched pickups halfway for variation.
