Hi everyone, here is a piece I built from the ground up.

After listening to a whole lot of Eric Clapton and reviewing the Claptonesque lessons here and abroad I came up with this . It mostly borrows from some of the early Blues Breakers vibe with my own improv thrown in. Suggestions and constructive review always welcome.

I was listening to this earlier today, and I thought wow - that is really sweet. You got the right vibe going there, and I love hearing you jam! Did you use a looper pedal? I was wondering how you went from playing rhythm to lead so smoothly, while the rhythm guitar kept going?

Hi Robert thanks for listening. So glad you liked it.  I firstly recorded the rhythm track over the entire piece and muted it until the solo/lead. So I could effectively play rhythm right up to when I change to lead.  The rhythm in the backing track unmutes and Im good to go!  Just a bit of recording engineering trickery.

Engineering Trickery, indeed, that was smooth transitioning.  Really nice Claptonesque'ness, Craig.  I liked the transition up at @2:30.  Are you getting any more live jamming like you posted a while ago?  You have the chops and place of mind to hold down a good stage performance.

Hi Clayton, thanks for listening. It's amazing what you can achieve with a good DAW Nowadays isn't it?! I put quite a few hours into the prep for this performance.

It's the first day of spring here so  a live performance could be on the cards! 😆.

Stay awesome dude.

Down Underlings, I forgot about that whole reverse season global tilt thingy.  Ah, it's beautiful here slipping into late summer but....winter is coming, Lord Snow.

Love the Cream-y goodness on your posting.  Make me want to try Stepping Out.
