My father taught me how to fish at a very early age. Some day, I'd like to return to the place where I first casted my little fishing pole to catch my first bluegill.
Maybe earphones might help on this one, vocals are kind of low.
Joe, I experience new values in your playing and recording! You are a "new Joe" for me. Not comparable: you and your old Iphone recordings.
By the way, I didn’t know what a bluegill is called in German, but I’ve informed me about it. What a beautiful fish!
You are a very good storyteller, guitarist, vocalist: I’m delighted and so pleased that you shared it with us. Your song fuels the desire to travel to Milwaukee.
I hope you can return some day.

This is nice! What mic did you use for your vocals? It sounds a bit muddy. You could spend some time learning how to record vocals - all you need is a basic vocal mic and learn a bit about using compression and eq for vocals, post processing.

Hi Robert
Yes, the vocals are not so good. I was using a program called Riffworks and I mic'd separately on Reaper. I'm using the standard Shure PGA 58. To my understanding it kind of the standard for bar bands.
Yes, hopefully with this new computer I'll get some improvement on recording vocals.

Wow! Thanks so much for your kind comment. Yes, my life is filled with stories to tell. Most are happy memories of my youth. I was a rebellious child, always into mischief, but always a good lad with heart that could tell my parents not worry when I went off to join the military during the Vietnam War.
