I've created a blues Breakers style backing track and mucking about with it for a while. Here is an excerpt... Pretty raw in parts but I'm quite happy with some of the idea's that have surfaced.
It gets better as it progresses.
Late Saturday night here (probably early morning tomorrow there??) so.....very cool.......very raw.........reminiscent of 'Born under a Bad Sign' but maybe record a cool clavinet type more laid back & clear keyboard rhythm part to offset the dominate lead guitar, Bob?? Some shall disagree I'm certain but I've always loved this sound because then you can vary the tone.......softer to more solid lead in the solo........still..........I can tell you have a really good head for the neck and positions and have an absolute blast whilst playing!! Hey Jim, Thanks for the "Superstition" idea. I will work on it!
Got a little rowdy in parts, but got some nice BRAND NEW stuff out of it that I will be incorporating in my bag of tricks.
Thanks for listening!!
Great new toys for us older boys!! I certainly get it, Bob!! I will forever love that one part of the classic cult movie "Spinal Tap" where the one dude.............now one of the main voices for The Simpsons........explains how and why he has his Marshall amp set at 11 as opposed to "10"!! Glad you didn't just shoot the messenger!! Just trying to relay my thoughts..........dynamics just rate very highly with me ...........Jim

And the sustain! You can't even look at it.
Love your input Jim. New ideas always welcome. 🤗
