So I was jamming along with Eric and John and decided to record a solo.
Bernard Jenkins is an instrumental from the Blues Breakers. There is an excerpt where Eric and John just play rhythm together so I popped that into my DAW and 100 improvisation practice sessions later this is the result.
Eric and John are really great, Craig, but I ignore them now and give preference to your impressive performance. What a thrilling sound and groove.
A big compliment for „session 101“: all previous was well worth the effort! Beautiful to listen to.

Mother of Great Tones that was chock full o' Bluesbreakerness! You dialed in the sound, the timing and feel so on the spot that EC and JM must've spilled their drinks in that virtual club. I loved that solo break! The upper fretboard section starting around 2:40 was so damned on the mark and tastey.
100 practice improvisation sessions: Id say that practice paid off. I was just chatting with Birgit about setting the record track to loop, repeat and keep rolling with new takes. I think that is what it "takes." Craig, this is a beautiful example of effort and return on good woodshed time.
oK, I never do this but I am so impressed I want to request or suggest your take on Steppin Out. Oh my, my.
BTW, video production is awesome, and I loved the bow to the audience. 👏👏👏
@bluesiline Thanks Birgit. A lot of preparation for this one.
But I would like to encourage everyone to do as Robert suggests and record, record, record!!!!
Yesss
Sounds awesome! Your phrasing is surely improving. Tasty stuff!
I see you trimmed your beard. You look great!
You got the feeling of them notes just singing off the fretboard. Your turnarounds sounded if they are your own originals.
Always a pleasure to hear your playing.
