A while ago I bought a book "Practice makes Perfect". I have read this book in one go and afterwards I started applying it to my exercises. I can say that this book is more than worth its money.
Everyone says "you must practice, practice, practice ... But nobody tells you HOW you have to practice Well, this book does it for you.

Thanks for the recommendation. I, for one, can always use good practice tips and ideas. I checked it out on Amazon the kindle version is $5.99 Might be worth a try! thanks

A few years ago I read a book that is written for piano players, but I think that many of the things described here can also be applied to guitar players. It is quite theoretical but quite interesting.
