Hey guys, I've started working on some THEORY lessons. I'm going to teach you all about scales, chords, the important types of chords, and modes.
At this point, I'm looking for your input. If there is anything you specifically would like to see in these lessons, let me know!
Sounds like some good stuff is on the horizon.
I've given this some thought and it might be difficult to verbalize and demonstrate but the things I would like to see covered, along with the theory, would be :
- ideas to help incorporate the scales, modes, chords into our playing
- drills & exercises to help us see the scales etc seamlessly across the entire fretboard rather than separate patterns
- Exercises to learn changing scales from within the same position
- seeing the intervals within the patterns...
I hope that makes sense...?
Sounds like a great idea Robert.
I'm pretty well open to any theory you put out but if something specific cones to mind I'll let you know. Looking forward to it!
Robert,
"Modes" has always been an area of confusion for me. Perhaps some of your excellent teaching in this area?
I understand what modes are, but I need help in applying that knowledge to my playing. KnowhutImean?
Thanks!
