Trying to come up with a fun headline. Surgery Swede? Surgery with some Swing? Nah, that sounds lame. Just not "hip" enough. 🙂

So, for me, this weekend will be full of sedatives and Netflix and sleep. Hope you will have a much better weekend!

I'll post something once I'm back from the dead.

Keep rocking and keep recording and sharing with us! You know, that's a way to make me smile while I'm going through this - record something for me and share it on the forum! 🙂

I’m awake! Surgery went well. My leg is still attached.

Now the road to recovery shall be interesting.

Thanks everyone!

Glad to hear that all went well... even so I suggest not doing any sprints or marathons for a few days...

Hope you heal up quickly!

Happy to hear things went well for you.  Running/jogging is fun, but as we get older (40 +)  one realizes that slowing down is a bit human nature wisdom.

Do you own a bicycle?  When well enough, check them out. Might help you a bit, Robert.

I do own a bicycle. I use it quite a bit in summer. Thanks!

I’m slowly recovering from yesterday’s hip surgery. The pain is manageable but I’m so tired it’s crazy. Yet I keep waking up all the time. I’d like to fast forward a few days.

Hope you are feeling better today... one day closer to being all healed up.

How long do you expect it will be before you can get up and start to walk a bit?

I can gently walk within a week, probably. I have to make sure I get enough sleep. The issue I'm having now is that I have trouble getting deep sleep. I sleep for 30-40 minutes and then wake up. Continuously. When I finally get up in the morning, I'm already exhausted.

Good luck with the sleeping... don't overdue the gentle walking...

Are you able to sit up and play?

I feel better standing than sitting at this time. So I can play standing up.
