Just wanted to point this out, if you have gmail open and post here, the upload time is very slow.

Hm, that sounds peculiar. Does this mean that you have found it is faster to post on the forum if you are logged out of Gmail?

It appears that being logged into gmail while posting has slowed down the upload, Robert. So I was correct. Maybe I thought AOL.com mail could also have been the problem, but apparently not.

It could just be my computer. I'm quite sure about the gmail slowing down the replies though. I know on Harmony Central, my computer does the same thing.
