The last 3 weeks, I've been a music helper for a drama project at our university. Today we had the show, and it was quite fun for me. The topic was "life in the 60s", and they students interviewed local seniors to get stories from them about what it was like growing up then. I was inserting little snippets of the Beatles, Monkees, Ventures, Stones, Dylan, etc, to support their performances.
Now that project is over, and now I'm focusing on the new Stout Blues solo course. This is a very advanced, modern blues solo. It's a fun one that's quite challenging for myself to play... but I figured it will be appropriate for those who really want to work on advanced licks. Coming this month, hopefully!
I don't know if Stout Blues is a good name. What do you think? It's significantly inspired by Matt Schofield. In fact, I've stolen several licks from him for this solo...
Maybe Stout Blues - Advanced Modern Blues Solo ?
I think your title says it all....
Stout Blues-Advanced Modern Blues Solo.
I like it.
Robert,
I am ready, my Master....please, go ahead.
