Well that is my attempt at a cool name for this project... not sure if it worked.
"Arpeggio Magnifico"? "Arpeggio Impresario"?
Anyhow, I am working on arpeggios for you. I am starting with Dominant 7 arpeggios, since blues is such a strong theme here, and those are the arpeggios that work for blues.
I will probably make the same for all the possibly 7 chords - minor 7, major 7, minor 7b5 and Dim 7.
Now is the time to provide suggestions and ideas! Your wish may come true!
Will you show us specific examples in this course Roberto on how to plug many of these ideas into existing soloing lessons?? For example.........utilizing say your cool Robben Ford Funky solo course........how we can interject some of these arpeggio ideas into certain parts of this solo. I for one would find this very intriguing and useful!! This would be a practical application in my humble opinion...... Jim C.
Ahhh... Arps... sounds like some good stuff coming up. I like the idea...
I agree with Jim that including some practical ideas / examples of putting the arps to good use would be beneficial!
Should be very cool!
As in Association for Retired Persons, Chris!!?? Ain't quite there yet but every time I see reference to ARP That's what comes to mind!! But you're correct.......I think specific applications to already studied or known material would really make this technique click in our minds!! Jim C.
Better than that - I show you new ideas of how to use the arpeggios to come up with nice lines and licks. Once you've learned these arpeggios, you can use them to better understand any of my existing solo lessons! Ain't that swell, gents!? Just to back and look at them from this and beautiful perspective!
Will you do all this in easy to understand English, Swedish or Canadian, Roberto???
😎
Hey!! Wish me a Happy Anniversary (or better yet.....wonder how Nancy has put up with me for 26 years!!!) I 'joked' with her that before she came along my average was at best 26 months with any relationship!! She didn't seem to appreciate this observation though......
Jim C.
I’d like to give a big shout out to Nancy and all the sidewalks for keeping you off the streets.
Now I believe you've been talking with Nancy!!!
:>)
Jim
He still manages to cause trouble though!
Hey!! It took me years to perfect, Chris ....but I've finally achieved the long sought after result of what is known as "The Renman eye roll!" every time Roberto gets another email from me and decides to open it and read it!! I am proud of my persistent efforts!!! Jim C.
Yeah Jim, I spend too much time looking into my brain, due to all the eye rolling! I don't see anything useful in there any way...
So??? How soon before we all become arpeggio grandioso accomplished players, Roberto??!!! Now see???!! Even Chris this time rolled his eyes over this comment!!
