Let's share! Tell us what you are listening to these days.
My taste in music is quite wide. I've been listening to Chris Cain lately - check him out.
The usuals suspects are present of course, often because of lesson research and searching out classic licks... so Clapton, SRV, Hendrix, the Three Kings, Robben Ford, John Scofield and some jazz cats.
I also really like Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, Matt Schofield, Doyle Bramhall II, Derek Trucks, Jimmy Herring, Scott Henderson, Mike Landau.
I'm digging into Spotify on the way to work and discovering some new [to me] artists... Eric Gale, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Ana Popovic... I dig Josh Smith and Kirk Fletcher too! Great players.
Chris, I just took a long walk listening to Chris Stapleton and the Steel Drivers. That band was tight and Stapleton just wails on vocals and guitar.
Clayton, thanks for the suggestion I will load some Chris Stapleton up for the ride this week. I have heard the name but not really familiar with his tunes.
Both his work with Steel Drivers and solo album featuring Tennessee Whiskey are good listening. Enjoy!
