I really like Philip. I saw him live in Edmonton a few years back. Boy, does he ever play LOUD.

He's got tremendous feel.

I feel he lives in them notes that he is playing. You can tell he's not even thinking of what to play, it just comes out so naturally after 1000's of hours of jamming.

A very soulful player he is.

One thing I did notice very quickly is that he does play note for note from some of the legends and mixes it into his playing. But he does it well.
