Sheez, no.  As egocentric as I may be, as some think I am, I wouldn't do that.  It was directed at the guy who, in his introduction thread, announced to the world, "That being said, my favorite band is Jethro Tull".

Ron, I didn’t want to convey anything about egocentricity with my answer to your question. At first I thought that you meant RR, because the new album is about Nordic mythology and, as is well known, Robert comes from Scandinavia, from Sweden.

But since you approach things with a great sense of humor sometimes, I thought that with your question you wanted to indirectly point out that you are a fan of Jethro Tull and that you are looking forward to the new album. That’s why I also attached a smiley.

But I couldn’t think of who you actually wanted to address.

I hope that makes sense to you.

@Clayton, did my link in my message 2 days ago not make it known?  Unfortunately, my announcement about the new album is probably for naught.  It appears he for whom it was intended has not been back here for a couple years.  I didn't realize, when starting this thread, how long it has been.  Poor guy! 😊   All the light-hearted, witty, fun, and, most importantly, intelligent banter he has missed!

@matonanjin sometimes I'm sloe'r than a gin fizz.  

And yet, coincidentally, two weeks ago my Wed night jam buddies and I were listening to the Jethro Tull station on Spotify after wrapping up the evening jam that started with my raucous version of Hard Days Night. Oh that clanging G7 sus 4!
