Yeah I like both songs .Great job Warp Kings! I particularly like the guitar playing!
Well done maestro!
Robert, very low-lying clouds and rain outside this morning, turbid atmosphere. But then I listened to your « Hey Bulldog ».
I can feel that you all are enjoying your performance very much. And in my opinion your voices have much more power and much more dynamic than the voices of The Beatles.
I like it very much.
Really good work! And a compliment for mixing and mastering. You are a pro thoroughly!
Keep it up. Birgit
Easily one of the top 3 Beatle tune rockers (Revolution wins with me!) as done in a very tight different syncopated beat........excellent bass and electric guitar by Paul and George as done here as well!! Who's who though?? Robert's the only guitarist?? Singer?? Nice mixing job, RR!! Jim C.
We have a website!
Check out https://warpkings.com/
I bet there are very few bands forming during this pandemic. You guys are really moving along!
I am curious, do you guys plan to do any gigs... once life returns to normal?
Robert, I saw your website : what a cool design! Very eye-catching. Congratulations.
Today I listened to « Midlife Crisis » for the first time. I’m delighted by the great enthusiam of all of your band members.
In my opinion, your drums and guitars are much more powerful, your voices are more versatile and impressive and your rhythm is more assertive than «Faith No More».
The song is very diversified in terms of sound effects und also the „quiet aera“ about in the middle is very well done.
There are some very creative minds working …..
Again a huge compliment, Birgit
Thanks very much. It's a fun project for me for sure. Next song will be another surprise... 🙂
Great video and recording!!! You guys sound great and look like you are having a load of fun!
Congrats on all that's going on!
I think you told us before but... I think you guys are separated by a great distance... so much so that it may be difficult for you guys to actually perform live at gigs...?
Best wishes for continued fun and success!
Robert, I can only agree with Chis.
And it’s not only a fun project for you but also for the viewer.
Your video is bubbling over with ideas. Fantastic! You do it all convincingly.
I could not help – but laugh – tearing off the lettuce and wringing out the towel - a good way to overcome any kind of "midlife crisis" !
There has been a lot of work undertaken to realize this project. I pay tribute to your work.
How long have you been working on this ?
Keep on doing, I am looking forward to your further projects, Birgit
I went on YouTube and saw the "official" Midlife Crisis video. Did you mix this one, too, Robert? I was disappointed. The guitar part was turned WAY down, very hard to pick it out. No solo. Song was OK, but I wanted MORE Robert Renman.
My favorite part of the video was where you were playing your guitar out on a downtown sidewalk and then "faded from existence" like a "rock star magician."
Thanks Dan! It's a cover song that is more about the overall sound than guitar-centric. No solo - not uncommon on those 90s rock songs! Yes, I mixed it.
I'll start another thread about Hey Bulldog.
@Bluesiline - I missed your question. We worked on it over a couple of months, in our spare time. It's takes so much time, it's kind of crazy. Hard work hopefully leads to a worthy outcome.
Yes, loved the Run Rudolph Run video, MUCH better than the MidLife Crisis. I could actually hear the guitar on this one, and you were playing some hot licks. Cute girl. Loads of fun. Now I'm hopping over, like a magic bunny, to check out your course on this song!
Video editing and graphics were superb on both Rudolph and Midlife. Like the thermometer with the disappearing mercury. Did you do all that, too?
Being someone who has designed several logos for various things, I really like the Warp Kings logo. Who designed that?
Inquiring minds want to know. (:}D)
