Whoa, does this ever sound awesome or what! Going to this show tonight.
She is 79 years old!
Awesome. She's getting up there, but looks great! Hope you enjoy the show!
Since there's so many Eric Gales fans on MGA site..........get a load of this!! Jim C.
Eric och Jonny are both great!
It was a fun show. Mavis still has a tremendous voice. She warmed up the crowd for Jonnie. He delivered a varied show, using acoustic, 3 different electric guitars, and a lot of blues-rock. It was loud for my old ears but awesome!
Man Roberto..........if your ears are "old".......then what does this make Chris and my own........ancient??? Actually.........Jonny does seem to have a great grasp on classic blues with his own added twist.........maybe a great study subject down the road perhaps?? Also........I believe he's another Swedish (or Norwegian??) Canadian decent..........great combo......no!!?? Not to get too political but on what I'd love to believe the good news front..........it would appear.......hopefully........our two great nations have finally settled at least most of our reciprocal fair trade differences...........no finger pointing..........just get things fair and happening again with the flow of goods and prosperity and growth for all..........cannot knock this!! Jim C.
Ancient Jim - Jonny is of Norwegian descent. Born in Fargo! Love that film and tv series by the way.
"And I suppose that was your accomplice back there in the wood chipper???!!" Easily the best line from the movie!!
The best Fargo series was the one with Billy Bob Thornton!!
Sorry about guessing the next door neighbor instead of Norway!!

I caught Johnny Lang at a small venue several years ago- such a soulful fellow. So much emotion in his performance, guitar and especially vocals.
Gales, I have yet to experience live. He seems so under the radar for such amazing skills and mojo.
