Wonderful performance. I could watch the video over and over again. And believe me, I will.

Years ago I heard Chris Cain on a local blues show.  I can't remember the name of the song but it had what I think is the greatest blues line ever, "She got more nerve than a bad tooth"!

Listen to Chris play such a killer solo with only 5 strings. The solo starts around 1:40 into the video. I just love the way he plays. Those giant bends are so cool. I think he got that from Albert King.

The Lancaster Roots and Blues festival is 90 minutes north of home.  It's a great festival that brings you right up front with a wide variety of artists.  And Cain's performance on that video was a midsize bar called the Tellus Lounge (two stages).

Sorry I missed this performance but the virus was raging and Lancaster county was a hot spot of cases.  

That festival is back this summer!
