My fingers have habits of their own, patterns that play out when I am trying to improvise. This killer lick challenged those patterns and forced me to slow down and methodically introduce and reinforce this lick pattern (and timing) into my solo DNA. After 30 minutes, I'm halfway to incorporating a cool new riff into my tool kit of, "fingers, do your stuff!" Thanks RR.
Dear Friends and colleagues,
Robert, thank you so much. I will try to Start with this Kirk Fletcher Micky by tomorrow morning. Not easy, but sweet and nice. I loved it.
cheers,
Esteban
Dear Friends and colleagues,
As promised, I started with the lesson. Unfortunately, I only learned a couple of notes, but I keep insisting. Instead, I let myself go. I hope you like it. And as usual, comments, critics and suggestions are warm welcome.
Esteban
Carlos, uh....Esteban, that sounded fantastic. Excellent example of using the intro lick and then laying back to build tension and anticipation. I really liked the way you "brought it down." I hear a significant change in your approach, much more complexity in dynamics.
Great to have you back!
That was cool! A bit different than what I did, and that's great - makes it your own!
Also, be aware that you have a longer version of the backing track here (only available for members):
Thank you so much for your support. It was pure improvisation. Honestly, not sure I could repeat it.
Robert, Thank you much for extra backing time.
Clayton, maybe it is time for another get together jam composition!!!! Think about it, please!!!!!
Attached my real inspiration. Mr. Kirk Fletcher.
If that happens, if you let yourself go.... Wow!! I adore the mix of rougher sounds and some very smooth parts. That one reminds me to the sound of Carlos (like Clayton). Sounds really great. Thank you!
Gottfried
Gottfried,
Thank you so much. I am pretty sure that there is also a great part luck
Heh, I knew Esteban when he was a Spaniard. I Guess the Catalan is out of the bag.
Also, be aware that you have a longer version of the backing track here (only available for members):
Yessss!
Alright, Esteban, lets pull down that full lenght backing track and trade off some bars. Call & Response OR 12 (maybe even 24) bars each, brother?
