@Robert, I love the sweet sound of sixths and when they're played as double stops in harmony... Wicked powerful stuff for inspiration and opening the fretboard.
Nice YT lesson for the masses. I know there is much more in depth lesson content on 6ths here at the MGA.
Thanks Clayton. I will add soundslice for the exercise tomorrow. I’m away coaching and running xc running today. We’re in Calgary. I coach at a university and today I get to race my athletes too! So far, only one runner on our team has been faster than this 51 year old. 😊
Here is the Soundslice version for this exercise.

@Robert, cheers for the 65 Super Reverb! OK, how heavy…?
It is quite heavy, yes... But I don't move it much. So it's ok. 🙂
I remember one of those (70s issue) as a house amp at a blues club. Those beasts sound sooooo good.
My 2x12 Deville is a back breaker, but oh the clean tone for a sub $900 tube amp.
Looking forward to hearing more of your new amp and axe!
Put coasters on the Super Reverb. Did your amp come with Home | Jensen Loudspeakers (jensentone.com) or Fender speakers. The 10's in them really bring out the trem and reverb. I bought a use 1968 one in Miami for I think 300 bucks back in 72. It had the Jensen speakers in it.
It came with Jensen speakers.
It came with Jensen speakers.
Them Jensen's really go well with the Super Reverb. They are known to carry the sound fairly far without dropping off. This helps when playing outdoors.
If you put locking coasters on it, the carrying of it is minimized, at least that is what I found out. I wonder if the tubes are Russian made ? I don't think America makes the tubes any longer.
