I have tabbed this one out for you and it will be added with Soundslice today. I tried to compose a great sounding solo, with interesting ideas and sweet melodic lines. What do you think?

I melt away with the wonderful sound of this solo, Robert, giving me the chance to work on my weaknesses by focusing on every single note and try to put emotion into it.

I hope your shoulder pain didn’t bother you that much. That’s why I really appreciate that you wrote this solo.

Thank you so much,

Birgit

The breakdown of the solo is now available. Probably spent too much time on it... went over all the details! I think!

I love the tone I am getting, by the way. It's from Amplitube 5. I can send you the preset if you have this app - masterguitaracademy.com/amplitube5

I just took a quick look at the explanations for lick 1 and 2. That's really great for me 👍.

I’m looking forward to slowly working through the entire breakdown.

Thanks for making it so detailed. That helps me decisively for my understanding of music theory and I hope that one day I will be able to recognize this on my own!

The tone is wonderful, Robert. I have Amplitube 5 - only done too little with it so far. So I would be very happy if you could send me the preset.

Thank you so much for your effort,

Birgit

Vince here, just found J002, & really like it. So just started working on it am getting my fingers under & around 1st six measures right now… Am playing/practicing w/my acoustic nylon as so far unable to get my electric out of storage. (Soon though). I’m reading the music & tab, plus kinda looping the measures so I can incorporate how it sounds to my ear (from Robert’s playing)… and try to get the feel of the music also that way…

Vince, it's great that you're learning to play Robert's jazz solo J002 😊.

I'm also excited about the tune and recorded it last year with my Epiphone - and it needs improvement too !!!

I particularly like the F#dim arpeggio from bar 8 onwards.

I'm very curious to hear how it sounds on your acoustic guitar.

A tip: If you create a practice log, you can add this solo and all future songs to it and always have an overview of how you have improved.

@bluesiline … Hi Birgit! (Sp?) Nice to get your reply about J002! Yeah, It’s a mellow tune! I’m getting along with learning it; I’m down to the last couple of measures now/75% speed. Still needs plenty of practice to get up to speed, especially the 2nd half of song… Am getting tune into my memory, as I learn & ‘internalize it’ … terminology I’ve picked up over the years. - My acoustic/nylon string(Cordoba guitar) has a pick up, that I haven’t really used yet. - I hope to get the tune up to speed soon, though I’m not so good at posting stuff 🙁 … and not so sure I will be able to show it when it’s up to snuff. I’m learning the melody/lead lines 1st, and then will work on the chording changes for sure…

Very Nice jazzy piece, I’m hooked on learning it, and then trying some improvisation along with it after I get the backup chord changes smooth…. 😀 😎
