Hi all,
My name is Ron and i am a newbee here from The Netherlands a tiny country in Europe.
My age is 57 and i play the guitar since i was 16 years old. Some of my personal guitar heroes are David Gilmour, Prince, Joe Bonamassa & Gary Moore. I listen often to the music of Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen,The Rolling Stones & Prince.
The reason to become a member of the master guitar academy is to lift up my blues guitar playing skills and maybe some jazz. I believe for sure that Robert is the perfect guitar teacher to take you by the hand to an upper level.
About my gear i can tell you that i have several stratocasters, telecasters & two les paul models. And i have a red Ibanez hollowbody guitar. A small of that type you may see in my avatar. Furthermore i have two fx pedalboards the Boss - ME 80 & the Zoom GFX5. Plus some standalone stompboxes of Digitech & A Cry Baby of Jim Dunlop. My amp is 100 watt Randall.
So here i am to join you all and maybe some day we can change out each others guitar/music theory knowledge at MGA Forum. I can tell you all that i am looking forward to meet you at the forum!

Nice to meet you. MGA has members from all over the world. We all share a common desire to improve our guitar playing... the master the guitar. I think you will have some enjoyable company and make new friends within the MGA group.

Ron, that's a nice broad grouping of favorites from Pink Floyd to Prince. Robert is a big Prince fan- he visited Paisley Park this year.
I see you have already set up the all important Practice Log. Those are excellent goals to work upon. I am looking forward to sharing experiences, practice ideas and challenges, as well as musical projects.

I have a Crybaby (Dunlop standard)too, it's a really great sounding wah.
Prince! He's a big inspiration for me, that's for sure!
