The Quests was a 1960's Singapore band. They were the top local band, who used to play The Shadows cover songs. However, they were not accepted by EMI to record on their platorm. They came out with Shanty, their own composition. EMI recorded it and it became the top hit of Top Charts in Singapore.

This is my interpretation and rendition of this beautiful piece played on a backing track.
