I'm 79 recovering fm quad heart by-pass. Been goofing around with guitars for several years; making replicas of LP, SG & Tele electrics; but, never took the time to learn to play. I know the strings, many chords; but, never put it all together. I like C&W Jazz and 50s & 60s rock.

Hello Peter and welcome to the site.
You got pictures of your craft, sure would like to see them.
For me, I go to the pawnshops and look for "fixer uppers" that need minor repairs, but I envy you.
