Hello everyone,
Glad to be aboard and I truly appreciate Robert offering the discounts during the holidays so I can buy even myself a Christmas gift with this membership. I started off playing in 1975. After a major accident happened to the violin my grandmother started me off on (2 years) I asked if I could have a guitar...lol. There were no teachers in the part of Michigan i lived in so it was just me, chord book and a record player. I was away from serious guitar playing for almost 20 years raising my two handicapped daughters by myself but about 10 years ago I jumped back. I enjoy learning even more now then of course because of all the tools at our disposal now. My biggest influence as a teen to start playing was Robin Trower, Muddy Waters and later on Hendrix. I have been blessed in the past 15 years so I have some great gear and have recently been downsizing to focus more on what's important. More learning and playing and less redundancy.

Hello Mark, and welcome to the forum and site. Yes, it looks like you a few bucks in your pocket at one time. For me, actually today I'm going to take pictures of all my gear and put it all up for sale. Going on Craiglist. I'm going to either keep one guitar or if I sell all, I'll the music store and buy my dream guitar.
Robert has plenty to offer, so I guess just jump right in .
Thanks for the welcome. Yep I'm doing pretty close to the same thing. Have sold so much.
Mark
You sure have a nice pile of gear there to play with!
Welcome aboard!
Hey, welcome! Nice list of gear there. I had JVM410H but I sold it. A bit overkill for my needs, since I play at talking volumes 99% of the time.
My biggest influence as a teen to start playing was Robin Trower, Muddy Waters and later on Hendrix.
Ahh, the neighborhood values are going up! Welcome.
Have had an opportunity to see Trower?
Now that I think about it, I have been very fortunate to have seen Muddy, Hendrix and Trower live! All are great influences!
Hello Mark. Welcome . You have a great collection of guitars. Post a piece of your playing for our enjoyment.
