Hi,
I am Bob from Langhorne PA. I have been playing a sort of folks style guitar(james taylor style) many years. I would like to get better at Rock and blues, specifically soloing. This has always been a challenge me. I play a Taylor 614 acoustic and a 1968 strat reissue made in the late '90s through a Blackstar Club 40. I have built and rewired a few strats for friends and family fun. I guess that's about it. Looking forward to getting to it. Thanks.
Hi Bob, glad to have you here!
Do you record? If not, that's one of the first things I recommend. Share recordings with us if you can, if not now, perhaps later.
Welcome aboard Bob!
Welcome to MGA Bob... Lots to learn here and of course we will always be interested in hearing about your guitar builds and upgrades... Have fun!
Beautiful Bucks County PA- welcome.
The Blackstars have some nice tone and feel; I really enjoy driving the clean channel on my HT-5R with some quality OD pedals.
The solo lessons here are excellent building blocks and I have to attest to Robert's Rx for recording as a necessary element for progress and improvement.
Thanks,
I recorded years ago, now I am trying to find the time to practice and get better at technique. I have been a member here for at least 2 years but got bogged down with work. I have been working with a looper(it's slow going) but helpful.
I started going through the Stout blues. Is there a way to print the tab?
I found the tab files. Sorry, am just finding my way around the mobile version.
Welcome Bob, greetings from Barcelona.
Esteban
